Hi! Come on in. I’m Wade, Profit Center Manager of Gorman Company in Jacksonville, FL. As a Hajoca manager, I have the authority and the responsibility of making the daily decisions about how I run my business. Yes, I did say “my business”.
You see, for 10 years I ran my own small business, started from scratch and grew to be more successful than I ever believed possible. On top of the world…living the dream…then, a little event call “Hurricane Ivan” came along and turned my world upside down.
And suddenly…it was time to get a job.
When I ran across the Hajoca web site…….it almost seemed too good to be true. Companies throw words around all the time like “entrepreneurial” and “opportunity”, but, as I began to learn about the Hajoca business model, their philosophy toward managers and employee development, and the over 150 year company success story…I thought I’d better check them out.
And wow, I’m glad I did!!
In just three years, I found myself here, in the chair, as we say, and now, once again I’m running my own business…with the freedom to make my own decisions quickly, without some big corporate hierarchy to navigate and with just the right amount of guidance and support from our Hajoca corporate team!
At Hajoca they like to say, “the profit center manager is king”. Hey, that’s a pretty hefty responsibility…and represents, perhaps, the biggest challenge of your career, but I promise you, it’s a journey worth taking and the opportunity is there if you’ll reach out and grab it!
