IPS1 (2)This is my third week with Hajoca. I work at the Inland Pipe and Supply Profit Center in Wenatchee, WA and the time has flown by. The start to my journey has been pretty interesting! My PC typically has 5 full-time team members (plus me now) but we were down to three employees for my first weeks due to vacation and illness. This made things feel “real” right away as I got to jump in and help with everything! Even though things were a bit crazy during that time, everyone was still very willing to take the time to make sure I was learning everything that I could.

I have spent time learning how to pick orders and figuring out where things are located in the warehouse. As plumbing is a completely new concept for me, I have gained quite a bit of product knowledge in these short three weeks, but I still have a lot to learn. As of yesterday I have even started to learn the purchasing process so that I can help make sure we don’t run out of stock. My PC Manager and I have had great conversations about the industry and about how our PC operates and performs, including our top customer and vendors. It’s obvious that this is going to be exactly what I was looking for!

Outside of the PC I have spent time getting to know Wenatchee better. I’ve tried a few of the local restaurants and have even played golf a few times. It has been HOT over here but it’s tough to beat this summer weather!

I really think I’m going to enjoy this process and am going to get everything I want out of it and more!
