My name is Emily and I grew up in Charlottesville, Va. I enjoy all the hiking that the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer. You can often catch me with my camera on the weekends taking pictures of the great outdoors. I went to college not far from home at James Madison University. While there, I worked with the Orientation Office, serving as a peer mentor to incoming students. Since graduating I have joined a women’s volunteer organization called the Junior League and I am still in the year-long process of becoming a member, so most of my free time is spent there.
