Hi, I’m Josh, a Hajoca management trainee. My path to Hajoca is unique in that I was a recent college graduate AND looking to change careers. Don’t adjust your volume! That’s right, I was both. But how?

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in finance. Upon graduation, I began to work in investments and quickly realized it wasn’t the right path for me. I didn’t enjoy being at my desk making phone calls. I was stuck in a reactionary environment. I wanted to be proactive!

Months earlier I had met with a Hajoca recruiter at a UCF career fair. They were seeking candidates for their management development program. The folks I interviewed with at Hajoca were genuine and gave the distinct impression that Hajoca was committed to investing in talent long term. So, I gave them a call!

Without a doubt, this was a very important phone call. This was my future.

I began interviewing again and was given the opportunity to join Hajoca as a regular full time employee. I accepted. I become familiar with Hajoca at the local level and had a chance to see the interworkings of the company. I was comfortable with career move I had made. After several months, I approached my Profit Center Manager about the training program and began the interview process again. The interview process was rigorous and fair. After successful completion, I was accepted and promoted into the Management training program.

A year later, I am officially a Hajoca trainee and I am continuing to learn the ropes the old fashioned way. Through hands on experience with customers, coworkers and management. With Hajoca, I have on the job training, work/life balance and the security of knowing I can build a long rewarding career.

Find the path to your success. Join Hajoca’s management development program and you’ll see what I mean.

My name is Mike and I’d like to tell you about a different path to Hajoca’s management development program.  There is no denying it’s an amazing opportunity for someone just graduating college and, if that’s you, you really should apply today!  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

But if you’ve been out in the working world for a while already, I hope what I’m about to tell you will inspire you to also consider Hajoca.  Several years ago, I was a new college graduate about to start a journey for fulfillment in corporate America.  By all counts, I succeeded.  I spent eight years moving up the ranks at two major consumer goods companies.  But while I was on the fast track, the politics and process in “big business” left me longing for more.

That is, until I found Hajoca.

I’m sure you’ve read through this website, so you know most people complete the management training program in three years.  This is true…but it’s not the only way.

Hajoca doesn’t stick to a bulleted list or a script to consider people for management.  They recognize passion and potential…and, most importantly, they see the person behind them.  They adapt to each person’s experiences, strengths and interests.  In my case, that meant an accelerated path through the development program where I could also leverage my sales experience immediately.

How many companies do you know that will tailor a training program to a brand new employee?  I’ve seen how other companies do it and I can safely say Hajoca is the best place to work.  But don’t just take my word for it.  See for yourself and never look back.

Hi!  Come on in.  I’m Wade, Profit Center Manager of Gorman Company in Jacksonville, FL.  As a Hajoca manager, I have the authority and the responsibility of making the daily decisions about how I run my business.  Yes, I did say “my business”.

You see, for 10 years I ran my own small business, started from scratch and grew to be more successful than I ever believed possible.  On top of the world…living the dream…then, a little event call “Hurricane Ivan” came along and turned my world upside down.

And suddenly…it was time to get a job.

When I ran across the Hajoca web site…….it almost seemed too good to be true.  Companies throw words around all the time like “entrepreneurial” and “opportunity”, but, as I began to learn about the Hajoca business model, their philosophy toward managers and employee development,  and the over 150 year company success story…I thought I’d better check them out.

And wow, I’m glad I did!!

In just three years, I found myself here, in the chair, as we say, and now, once again I’m running my own business…with the freedom to make my own decisions quickly, without some big corporate hierarchy to navigate and with just the right amount of guidance and support from our Hajoca corporate team!

At Hajoca they like to say, “the profit center manager is king”.  Hey, that’s a pretty hefty responsibility…and represents, perhaps, the biggest challenge of your career, but I promise you, it’s a journey worth taking and the opportunity is there if you’ll reach out and grab it!

Thanks for taking the time to check out our awesome company…….hope to see you out there!

So we all use bathrooms, but if you’re anything like me a few years ago, you don’t think about how the toilet and sink got there, right?

Yup…this guy!

My name’s Mike and your bathroom is my office. You don’t have to think about me when you’re in there. In fact, it’s probably best if you didn’t… Just knowing you’re happy when the plumbing works is what matters to me.

I’ve always been a leader. In college, (more…)

Hi. I’m Debbie and I’m a trainee in Hajoca’s Management Development Program. I was in your shoes a little more than a year ago – weighing my options…sending resumes… interviewing. I had just graduated from college and knew exactly what I wanted – a career in management. When you’re starting out, academic achievements and extracurricular activities are what set you apart. Hajoca recognizes this and digs deep to see a person’s potential. They redefine entry level – as a management trainee, I know that with hard work in a few years I will be a leader in the company.

It was clear from the start Hajoca was serious about its Management Training Program. I went through (more…)
